Our Story
BrightPortal Resources was established in June 2009 by Patti and Tim Cowsert with a clear mission: to revolutionize aviation safety through innovative solar-powered lighting solutions.
Tim initially focused on business development while Patti handled administrative responsibilities alongside her teaching career. In December 2019, Patti transitioned to the president role to support daily operations and drive company growth.
Our dedication to excellence culminated in November 2020 when we achieved ETL L-853 (AC 150/5345-39E) certification FAA approval, becoming the only manufacturer in the United States to hold this prestigious certification for solar-powered LED lighting.
